Belt conveyor is a transporting device of continuous action with a working body in the form of a belt.

The belt conveyor is one of the most common types of conveyors, it is used to move any type of container or goods. It is used both for moving in one plane, and for lifting / lowering to different heights. Depending on the properties and nature of the transported load, the angle of inclination of the working side of the belt can be set up to 90 ° (in conveyors with a modular belt).

Belt conveyors are mobile, portable, rotary and stationary. Stationary machines are used to move a large amount of materials over long distances, and mobile and portable machines are used to move a small amount of material over a distance of 2 to 20 m. In practice, successive conveyors are used to move goods hundreds of meters.
