In particular, measuring packages is time-consuming and often leads to errors when transferring data to inventory management systems and delivery programs.
The BOSCHE 4D Silence In-Line scale is the ideal tool for contactless volume and weight measurement of parcels. The semi-automatic measurement (length x width x height and weight) takes place in seconds. The dimensions can be used to determine the correct packaging and organize warehouse loading plans.

Dimensional recording – Four high-precision laser distance sensors scan the cube-shaped boxes and determine the corresponding dimensions during weighing.
The corresponding volumetric weight is also calculated. An optional camera can take a photo of the product in addition to the basic data.

The scale platform connects to a Windows PC via a USB interface.
The included software visualizes the weight and dimensional data directly on your Windows computer.
The calculated volume and volumetric weight are also displayed.

Software

The supplied software visualizes weight and dimensional data directly on the supplied Windows computer or on your own computer. The volumetric weigher software calculates volume and volumetric weight from dimensions and weight.
Hot keys make it easy to export data to your delivery system. For this purpose, various function keys are available on the keyboard that write the data directly to the cursor position. The configurable software can be adapted on request (other language, scanner as trigger, etc.). The defined values can be transferred directly to the master data of the warehouse management system (WMS) via an interface connection.

Construction

4D Silence IN-LINE volumetric scales have four load cells mounted in the base frame. In addition, four laser distance sensors are permanently installed in a robust steel structure. The weighing technology is maintenance-free and wear-free.
